Jason Truss from Nashville, TN- I just wanted to say thank you... our pilot light went out while I was at work, and my wife was able to re-light our pilot light using your instructions. We used www.ask.com to search how to light a pilot light, and your instructions popped up. Thanks for posting that information! We're still going to have our gas furnace serviced, but your help gave us some time.

K. Cyples from Westland, MI- I am a first time homeowner and after a year of no problems, my water heater pilot died. I had no idea how to relight it. The directions found on this site helped me help myself.
Thanks a bunch!
Jennifer Milkovits from Orlando, FL- Thank you so much. I live in central Florida currently but grew up in south Florida. I had never used central heat before and was very confused on what the EM. HEAT switch on my thermostat was for. After about 15 websites that were trying to sell me something, with no useful information, I found yours, that answered my questions completely.
Thank you for providing knowledge and helpful information to people outside your industy, rather than just having something to sell. Its good to know that I can still do something other than shop on-line!!!
Ed Fletcher from Fairfax, VA- Thanks very much for quick sale and delivery of my GeneralAire Humidifier parts. Everything arrived in order and I was able to repair the unit for less than $100 including filters for the season. HVAC guy wanted $400 for a new unit!
Thanks for the savings and I'll be back. EF
D. Smith from Roanoke, VA- Thanks for the very helpful article on heat pump icing problems. The dripping gutter directly over my outdoor unit was contributing to the incomplete defrost cycle. Cleaned out the gutter and installed a suspended cover over the top of the unit (allowing for sufficient airflow) and the problem has not reoccured even on the days of freezing rain.
Thanks!

Susan Livingston from Genava, IL- I want to thank you for providing a solution to our hvac problem. Our AC stopped cooling and after a search for "hvac not cooling" I was glad to find such a thorough check list to go through before needing a service call. It was a simple solution of realizing the outdoor unit was not running and doing a simple restart.
We are cool again! Many thanks!!!
Barb Gravel, Lethbridge, Alberta Canada-I just wanted to give you people a very heartfelt thank you for your trouble-shooting tips on the forced air furnace. My husband was off at work & I was here alone in the house when I woke up to only 52' in here. I have some health problems & can't afford to get chilled so this could have been very dangerous for me.
I went through your Troubleshooting checklist & discovered that the power to my furnace was off & I was able to get it turned back on, thanks to your website tips.
You people saved me from getting really sick, not to mention a costly service call if I couldn't have figured out the problem from your checklist. So from the bottom of my heart I thank you all. God Bless you.
Mrs. Barb Gravel-Canada
(where as you may have heard is VERY cold in the winter! *s*)

I managed to get my furnace going in less than two minutes. This was after trying to find the answer on several other "DIY" websites.
So , Thanks!

John Friedman from Houston, TX- I was able to determine that a service call to my A/C Serviceman was necessary. My desire in looking before hand was finding a short checklist of items to check before he was called. ie reset buttons, etc. I found your site very helpful and the most easy to access simple troubleshooting questions. I appreciate your efforts to answer these querries without anything but a thank you. Well, here it is!!
Thanks.

Follow-up: Please feel free to use my comments. I really appreciate the way you have transferred your businiess style of customer service [and I never had contact with you prior to this] to the seemingly "service-less" Internet. Most people want a buck for their bang, if you catch my drift.
Thanks again,
John Friedman

Elder Vaughan from Richmond, VA- I just wanted to say thanks for all the information about heat pumps on your site. It is a real public service for you to share your knowledge with those of us who have none. If I need parts for my unit do you sell them? Again thanks.
Follow-up: After visiting your site and receiving the help to understand what was going on with my heat pump I left feeling like an old friend. It was refreshing to see someone trying to help others with their problems with no gain in sight for themselves. As I said before I felt like you were really providing a service to people. I again thank you for your concern for others.
God Bless,
Elder
Carlos Nazario from East Stroudsburg, PA- I really enjoy your website, very informative on how to maintain your own system. Prices are very reasonable on having your system serviced. It's very easy to move around your website and find what you are looking for quickly.
Thanks for making it simple and very imformative ;-)
Jeff Helmes from Glen Mills, PA- Excellent site: Great info, plus quick and easy to navigate. Your Heat Pump 101 saved me a potentially expensive service call for a relatively simple issue I handled myself. But now I know where to go if I have a real problem with my heat pump.
Thanks.

Nancy Adams from Tempe, AZ- Thank you for your website! Some service companies take advantage of single women. I appreciate being able to troubleshoot my heat pump problem and knowing if a service person's diagnosis is reasonable. I feel much better about calling someone now. By the way, would you happen
to know of a very reputable heatpump service company in the Tempe, Phoenix, Arizona area? I respect your judgment.
Howard Weiler from Denver, CO- I AM JUST GETTING INTO HVAC, SO A BIG THANK YOU FOR YOU BEING THERE WHEN I HAVE QUESTIONS.

[Second Comment - 2/01] I just wanted to thank you again. Using your troubleshooting tips I was able to diagnose my heat pump down to where it was leaking and get the guys who installed it a year ago to finally come back and fix it. You have a really excellent site. It was the only one I found on the entire Internet for the non-technical person. Thanks again.
Travis

Gerry Duran from San Antonio, Texas- Thanks to your easy to use website, my wife and I were able to narrow down an electrical problem in our central air conditioner. Without your web sites's recommendations, we would have spent unnecessary time and money on a service call.
Keith Flynn from Steelton, PA- I'm always browsing around looking at HVAC sites, been doing it myself for about 16 years now, your site is the Best I've ever seen, very imformative and professional. If your service to the public is as professional as this web site, I see Hannabery being a leading competitor for a very long time. Thank you and I just wanted to pass it on.

Nita Whitten - Collier Consulting Group- Texas-Dear Scott, You are a great webmaster. I particularly like your website because you seem to have something for everyone, including, family members. Remembering that customers usually have families makes a lot of sense when it comes to marketing. Additionally, I really feel that having all the various details about the types of service and installations you provide is very effective. Keep up the good work. Have a great day!
